Weekly Vocabulary 2/9/14

Conceptual Photography: A staged photograph where the objects in the image symbolize or illustrates an idea

Stock Photography: A supply of usable images that are licensed to people for a specific use. To prevent hiring a photographer, these images can be used for marketing or publishing.

Microstock Photography: A branch of stock photography, however all images are found via the internet.

Iso stock Photography: A sensitivity setting on a camera that increases the shutter speed on the camera. This is the equivalent of changing film with a higher or lower light sensitivity
